In the book, Lord of the Rings, Ithilien was the garden of Gondor. This Ithilien was created as a small breeding farm for thoroughbreds.
Our brand is the “I” for Ithilien, which also stands for our goal for our thoroughbreds. The wavy tops are strong backs; the double uprights are the straight legs & the red centre is their big, strong heart.
We have mares, yearlings & foals at home. A calm gelding, Red, escorts any of them on the float & looks after the weanlings. Retired pacer, London Legend (a star on the racetrack), supervises the mare paddock.
Out racing currently we have TallyHo Tui, soon to be followed by Elanor d’Ithilien.
We form partnerships to race with people keen to come to the races, to enjoy the fun, hospitality & keen excitement an owner has when your horse parades to race.
